Happy Friday everyone. I hope that you are all doing well during this time of uncertainty. I invite you to take a moment to check in on your personal self-care. I recommend asking yourself the following questions:

  • Are you taking time to focus on your own physical wellbeing?
  • Is there a health goal in which you would like to progress more?
  • Are you taking care of yourself in ways that keep you emotionally well?

Be open, honest and kind with yourself without holding any judgement on your responses.

It is best not to be too hard on yourself when you might not be reaching your intentions the way we want to.  Instead, self-assess and choose to move forward with the intentional choice to focus what you will do to take care of yourself TODAY.  Self-care can be practiced in different ways whether through running, yoga, eating nutritious meals, getting the right amount of sleep, or taking time to unplug from technology. Self-care is extremely important as we navigate the present moment and the upcoming months ahead. Engaging in self-care and mindfulness practices is essential for our emotional wellbeing, and helps us handle the stress and emotions that we might be navigating right now with everything going on in the world. The good news is that our personal self-care strategies will not go out of style, so the work you do now can make a huge difference.

As a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) with over a decade of experience working one-one-one with people, I can help you get back on track with your goals and incorporate more self-care in your daily life. As always, I hope this note finds you well.

Warmly,
